Abd Al Malik — "Daniel Darc" Music Video & Scarifications Tour

I created the chorus scenes for the music video "Daniel Darc" by French artist Abd Al Malik, working with director Romain Cieutat at MONOBURO. The singer's silhouette was scanned with a Kinect to generate a point cloud, which became the surface for particle emission in Houdini. Wind simulations guided the particles into dynamic root-like flows in virtual space. Compositing was done in Nuke. I also produced generative and procedural animations using Houdini, Processing, and Blender for Abd Al Malik's "Scarifications Tour" concerts, showcased at La Gaîté Lyrique and during the national tour.
