Le Muséonaute: Interactive Wearable Costume
Tools & Technologies
An electronic interactive costume (wearable interface) designed for a museum performance at the Grand Palais in Paris. Part of the "Créons au Musée" research project funded by EUR ArTeC, the Muséonaute is a wearable device integrating Arduino, sensors, and LED systems that enables real-time interaction between a performer and their audience. The costume translates the visitor's proximity and gestures into light patterns and visual feedback, creating an intimate dialog between performer and museum visitors. The project was presented during the "Nos Lunes Personnelles" event at the Grand Palais (May 2019), engaging 500+ visitors, and was presented at an international symposium at Musée Guimet.
